Have you been conditioned to focus on what pregnancy and birth have done to your body, as opposed to celebrate what it has created? Do we let body dissatisfaction overshadow the beauty of motherhood? Comparisons to where we think we should be postpartum, combined with images of “bounce back” celebrity or social and mass media culture adds to the frustration.
We’re here to let you know changing your thinking and celebrating what your body has created and achieved IS possible. Join us as we support, laugh, cry and learn together for a fun day packed with memorable information and experiences. Maternal Goddess is proud to be a leader in educating, supporting and promoting awareness for women and their loved ones postpartum. This year we are excited to partner with Women’s March Canada and initiate our vision of advocating for equal access healthcare for women nationwide.
If you are an expecting, new or existing mom who struggles with having a healthy relationship with your body, then this is the event for you! Brunch & bond with us over our shared experience with tailored guidance from our team of experts. Together, we will dispel myths and change the narrative of your relationship with your body’s recovery postpartum.

SESSION 1: BODY BACK PHENOMENON
"Beyoncé wasn't Built in a Day, or was She..."
Are you wondering what it takes to get a six pack postpartum or how to get your pre-pregnancy “body back”. “Mummy tummy”, pelvic floor dysfunction, stretch marks and a new relationship with how you view yourself are all thrown into the mix. We will discuss the importance of pelvic floor health, the realities of weight loss postpartum and pervasive bootcamp culture and the other physical aspects of postnatal healing that are often overlooked.
