DR. SHEILA WIJAYASINGHE is a family doctor in Toronto with a special interest in women's and sexual health. She studied medicine at the University of Alberta and completed her Family Medicine Residency and Fellowship in Low Risk Obstetrics at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Sheila is the Medical Director of Primary Care Outreach at Women's College Hospital and the Medical Director at the Immigrant Womens’ Health Center in Toronto. She has a family practice at St. Michael's Hospital and works as a staff physician at Hassle Free Sexual Health Clinic. She is a Lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. She has written for the Globe and Mail and is one of the Health Experts on CTV’s The Social.
She believes that by increasing awareness of our bodies and health needs, we can be more informed to make decisions to lead healthier and more satisfying lives.
